Gli Asili di Santina Gusmini” are a fact.
What seemed to be a visionary project 10 years ago, has now become a course of study particularly appreciated by the Ministry of Education, which allows even children living in remote villages without services to have access to a decent, safe school with teachers trained to look after them.
The training course that started in December 2021 ended at the end of August.
In the meantime, we have started the construction of our third school, which we expect to complete and hand over to the village in spring 2023.
In September we published our first book. It is a small First Aid manual that we give to our students when they graduate, to be of help in the event of adverse circumstances requiring it. On 29 September, our President and Aldo De Michele travelled to Zambia to meet the local authorities, visit the village of Kaulembe with our two schools, attend the graduation ceremony, and visit the future villages where we will operate.

We did it! But it’s only the beginning…..
