Maybe something is moving

Perhaps, thanks to this gentleman, H.E. Mr. Ponatshego Kedikilwe, former Vice President of Botswana, now retired from public service, something can change …

The year 2014, a full year of high hopes firstly, then of disappointment for us, was going to expire with the consciousness that, despite our efforts, the real chance for starting our project were almost nil. We were stranded on our request for an official invitation to begin our operativity in the country, on which we never received a reply. Even the long-awaited elections, produced any reaction from the Government.
So we have officially informed the Italian consul in Gaborone, Mr. Guido Giachetti, about the great difficulties we met and our imminent decision to abandon the Botswana project.
He, with great disposability, asked us to wait for a few more weeks, to allow him to inform some people in the government, on goodness of our project, believing that it was a pity it could not take place in Botswana.
And, surprise of surprises, while he was displaying our project to Mr. Kedikilwe, former Vice President of the Republic, now retired from public service, to devote his life to initiatives useful for his country, Mr. Giachetti learned that Mr. Kedikilwe and his wife, had set up a foundation to build kindergartens in remote villages! Incredible! We had (almost) the same goal, and we had no knowledge each other….
H.E. Mr. Kedikilwe requested an immediate meeting with our Association, in order to verify any possible synergy between our organizations. The meeting will be held in Gaborone after 15 January.
