Kaulembe’s shools, start working.
Some information to our friends and supporters about what’s happening in Kaulembe and about our projects.
In the northern part of Zambia it has been raining incessantly for a month, every day and all day long. The rainy season this year has lengthened and this affects activities and crops of this rural area. Kaulembe’s schools, as you can see in the photos, are used. Few days ago, we paid for the last tranche of the contract and, great and unexpected news, our local representative, Enrico Carretta, informed us that, due to a cash surplus, generated for the worsening of the exchange between Kwacha, the local currency and the euro, with what has been saved, he will provide to build the bathrooms for the schools in Kaulembe and, if something remains further, to equip the kindergarten with a play area for the children.
It is an act of particular goodness, absolutely not due, which shows us how much our trust in him was absolutely well placed. It means that Enrico and his Association, Pamodzi Ndi Ana, take care of our projects, but, above all,do their best for whom all of us and you, want to help: the children of this area. A heartfelt thanks to Enrico and to all of you.
The next project is ….. on the way! Follow us as always and, as soon as fully planned, we will inform you promptly. Keep reading….
