Second journey to Bruxelles
It seemed everything was fine, we had already booked the airline tickets to Gaborone, but our only request, having a plan for official meetings before departure, it never materialized.
It seemed everything was fine, we had already booked the airline tickets to Gaborone, but our only request, having a plan for official meetings before departure, it never materialized.
It has been a long path, but finally we did it! Thanks largely to the tenacity of our member, dr. Paolo Rossi, today, the Italian Authorities have registered, with effects from the time of the demand, September 4, 2012, Santina Gusmini Onlus Association in the official Register of No Profit Associations.
Verified, at least formally, the interest of Botswana for the project and its feasibility, these months are dedicated to the growth of the Association, to meet with new members useful to the project, to achieve the formal approvals required, to the drawing up of the educational program.
Once worked out roughly the main idea, the first decision concerned the choice of the country to create the first project of the Association. The first contacts were directed towards three countries of Southern Africa: Botswana, Namibia and Zambia.
Following some phone contacts with the consulate of Botswana in Italy, which is based in Crocetta del Montello (TV), we are introduced and subsequently invited to Brussels, headquarters of the Embassy also responsible for our country , for talks with H.E. the Ambassador, Mr. Samuel Outlule and the First Secretary Mrs Gao Tscheko.
