We keep trying !

We keep trying !The disappointment for our efforts, to start up the Project, vanified by the inactivity of Botswana Government, has been remarkable, but, like the Phoenix, we too reborn into a new project.
In early September, thanks to a friend of our Association, we have been informed about the initiative taken by a lady, native of Mantova, who, emigrated to Cape Verde, has opened a kindergarten for children who live in a state of distress and poverty in the island of Boa Vista. Given the economic difficulties in which her project pours, she was in Mantova for few days to make fundraising and the local newspaper, La Gazzetta di Mantova, wrote an article about it.  Read article from “ la Gazzetta di Mantova”
We meet her during her stay in Italy, we speak of her project, called “ un click per un sorriso” , we take information about the country in which she has been living for almost a decade, Cabo Verde, we consider the synergies with our goals and we discover that the two initiatives complement each other perfectly, the desire for mutual cooperation and the opportunity of giving life to a single project, but more complete, considerable.
Since that first meeting, held in Gonzaga, Italy, on September 14th, repeated contacts took place. We have developed a project for Cabo Verde and at this time we are finishing the translation into Portuguese language to submit it to the Ministries involved, who with, Sonia, our new friend in Cabo Verde, has already taken contact.
Soon we’ ll publish the Cabo verde Project and we will give you news of what is happening.

A last thing: do you know that the islands of the’ Cabo Verde archipelago are ten? Exactly the same number of the new-teachers that the Project Botswana planned to train every year … ..It’s just a coincidence?
