In 1911, on the border of Dogana, a hamlet of Serravalle Castle, Francesco Valentini and his wife Santa Berti opened the first tavern in the village.
At the beginning of the 1930s, Francesco’s brother, our great-grandfather Luigi Valentini took over the management, combining this activity with his passion for making wine from grapes purchased in the surrounding area.
The Valentini family boasts a centuries-long history in the sector of fine dining. The first tavern in the village was founded by Francesco Valentini and his wife Santa Berti in 1911.
Since then, the family business has continued to evolve on the impetus of a healthy and engaging passion handed down from father (and mother!) to son, so much so that even Nicola, Giovanni and Valentina, after their respective degrees, have chosen to perpetuate the family tradition.
Over the last 30 years, our commercial ‘vein’ has focused on specialisation…
Giovanni is the ‘star’ of the ENOTECA, a wine shop that has become a reference point and meeting place for ‘knowledgeable gourmets’ from all over the area.
