It has been a long and painstaking work, developed in different stages and required the collaboration of five authors. a paediatric pedagogist and a paediatric cardiologist, both Italian, and three Zambian trainer teachers, but we have finally published our textbook for the course for volunteer Early Child Education teachers, which we train for children in the most remote and disadvantaged villages. The book is published on Amazon, in English and it can be purchased in any country, so that it can be used as a basis for basic training for early childhood education teachers in the most under-served places.

The handbook covers the following topics: early ECE centre management, general pedagogy, developmental psychology, elements of teaching methods, mathematics, prescience, language development and prewriting, nutrition, first aid, sociology and history of local education (very interesting indeed), special pedagogy, expressiveness and  development of attention.

We have recently completed the second year of our annual training course for volunteer ECE teachers, we hope to complete others, and we are rightly proud to use our own methodology.

We have certainly not invented anything, we have only, patiently, assembled different skills, enhancing both the contents brought by local studies and life experiences, and the studies of the most famous theorists of early childhood and child development ,expressed by western culture for centuries.

We believe we have created a valid support for all those who, not only in Zambia, but in every place in the world lacking in services, schools and training, want to take care of early childhood in a more conscious manner.
