Here we are again in Gaborone. One more time with high hopes of starting a project, to which several people have been working for over two years. This time, however, with a greater awareness that, the time is now or never. Either we create the conditions for an immediate beginning of the activity, does it mean within the end of 2015 or the Botswana Project will be dropped for obvious lack of interest from the government of the country.
The first meeting will be held on Thursday, January the 22nd between the former Vice President of Botswana, H.E. Mr. Kedikilwe and our President dr. Maurizio Testa.
Mr. Kedikilwe,
76 years old, clarifies the goals of his Foundation, established two months ago, with the aim of creating kindergartens in remote villages. Basically he seems interested to a partnership to join our forces in order to proceed to the operational phase in a short time and he deems our organization a possible important resource for his country, not to be missed.

Basically he seems interested to a partnership to join our forces in order to proceed to the operational phase in a short time and he deems our organization a possible important resource for his country, not to be missed.Frankly speaking, he shows more interested to the activity in the villages, that the training school, but learned that the school is the focus of our project, approves, in general, our executive program and its development.
After a pleasant conversation, for once concrete, after hearing the difficulties encountered by us, he decides to set a second meeting with the participation of the former President, Mr. Lucky Moahi,
who now holds an important role in the Ministry of Education ( already met in our first journey to Gaborone) and, as a coordinator, Mr. Jacopo Pari, husband of prof. Boriani, our Educational Manager, resident in the country for more than six years.

Boriani, our Educational Manager, resident in the country for more than six years. The following day, Friday, January the 23rd, during a friendly talk, characterized by concrete initiatives, it is stated as follows:
- the Ministry of Education & Skills Development will send to Santina Gusmini Onlus Association an Invitation Letter to operate in the country as requested
- an allocation of a plot of land for the creation of our School Center is not possible. Alternatively, will be shown soon to Mr. Pari two or three existing schools in Gaborone. If one of these were evaluated as suitable, it will be assigned to the Association that will assume control and management, creating there the Training School and the kindergarten ( if already not existing ) to enable the practical activities of the course of study
- prof. Boriani will resume contacts with the BQA (former Bota) for the approval of the Educational Project
- it will be subsequently signed a memorandum of understanding, containing the reciprocal commitments, between the Kedikilwe Trust and the Santina Gusmini Onlus Association.
The meeting ends with a warm handshake and the belief of all the participants that, this time, the operational phase is definitely imminent.
