Deafening silence. For Botswana we do not exist anymore. Perhaps we never existed.

We decide to try otherwise and we remember Mr. Molutsi, Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Council, met in our visit to Gaborone.

We decide to write one more time to H.E. the Ambassador, Mr. Outlule. Basically everything started thanks to his efforts and the trust he placed in us and in our project.

We receive from Giulia a copy of an article appeared on a newspaper of Gaborone. The top management of the Ministry of Education has been removed. We did not have any relationship with the Minister, but Mr. and Mrs. Muzila Ratsatsi, PS and DPS, were the officials who had to give us an answer “shortly” .

Finally, defined an Educational Project by mutual agreement with the Ministry, it was time to decide how to start the Executive Project. It ‘ is absolutely clear the need to obtain an official invitation from the Ministry before the beginning of any activities in the country.

Realized the Educational Project, it is sent to prof. Boriani, who tries to get a meeting with the Bota ( Botswana Training Authority ). After several attempts, the tenacity of our Educational Manager, is rewarded.

African oddities…. First we receive an official answer which, more or less, rejects our project. Then, five days later, the most important Department of the Ministry of Education, sends us directions to proceed with the drafting of an Educational Project.
